The Thomas E. Gorman Law firm was founded in June of 1991 when Tom Gorman retired after
serving approximately six years as a District Court Judge. The focus of the firm was to provide
legal services in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense and family law. The focus has
remained in those areas. The lawyers and staff of Thomas E. Gorman Law Office are committed to
the principal of seeking justice for those in need in an efficient and compassionate manner.

of Thomas E. Gorman, our accomplished lawyers have the extensive experience and

Thomas E. Gorman Personal Injury Family Law Criminal Law Tom Gorman has practiced law in
Red Wing since 1977, with the exception of 1985 - 1990 when he served as a district court judge. The focus of his practice in recent years
has been personal injury, criminal defense and an occassional business /farm related divorce.
Nicole Broderick Family Law Nicole R. Broderick is a native of Red
Wing, Minnesota. Nicole graduated from Saint Mary's University with a double major
in Mathematics and Psychology. In 1999, Nicole received her Juris Doctor degree
from Florida Coastal School of Law. Nicole practices exclusively in the area of
family law, representing clients in marital dissolutions, child custody, parenting
time issues, child support matters, paternity, step-parent adoptions and prenuptial
agreements.
Chet Lexvold Criminal Defense Chet Lexvold joined the Thomas E. Gorman Law Office in June, 2011 after serving as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Michael Savre in McLeod County, Minnesota. Chet graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in May, 2009. At Hamline, he served as the Production Editor for the Hamline Law Review, and also worked as a law clerk for the Goodhue County Attorney’s Office.
Chet focuses his practice in the area of criminal defense, representing clients charged with crimes of all levels, including felonies, gross misdemeanors, and misdemeanors. Chet has a wide range of experience representing clients charged with illegal drug possession (both recreational and prescription), DWI, assault (including domestic assault by strangulation), hit-and-run, theft, criminal vehicular operation/homicide, and fleeing in a motor vehicle, among other crimes.
Chet also works in the area of personal injury, representing clients involved in motor vehicle accidents, ATV accidents, boat accidents, dog bite cases, sexual abuse cases, and laser hair removal burn cases. Also, he has experience serving as a guardian/conservator for people with mental health issues. Furthermore, as a part-time court-appointed attorney, Chet also represents clients in CHIPS and child support contempt cases.
The staff of the Thomas E. Gorman Law Office is a
well-trained group of individuals who are dedicated to serving the needs of the firms' clients.
When Thomas Gorman started his law firm, he recognized the pitfalls of doing business without
personal commitment to the client. Since then, he has assembled a group of lawyers and staff
who are sensitive to the needs and concerns of the firm's clients and friends.
In addition to Thomas Gorman working on your personal injury case, there is an on staff RN
and a legal assistant working on personal injury cases.
Linda Johnson Criminal Law Civil Law Linda attended UW-Stout majoring in Retail
Marketing with a minor in Business. She has been with our firm for over 15 years
and assists with criminal law and civil law matters.
Renae Bryan Family Law Personal Injury Renae graduated in 1996 from the University
of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management with a B.S. in Business/Accounting.
Renae assists with personal injury and family law files.
Joni Gorman Medical Research Joni graduated from Winona State University
with a B.S. degree in nursing. Joni worked several years at the Mayo Clinic prior
to joining the firm. She assists with cases that require medical research and expertise.
